Avoid problems or costs when recruiting

Increase your chances of success when hiring

The process of hiring
From profiling using any one or a combination of the many psychometric testing tools available (some free) or running skill based assessments Kuta can advise or run the very best process that we have agreed is the most likely route to attracting and recruiting the right person.

Interview skills
Not just a sit down, go through the cv etc.. but in depth, quality questioning that unlocks the real personality of the candidate – identifying key achievements, skills, traits and most importantly their motivation for their application – will this person really make a difference?
Reference taking – getting beyond the “dates only” response from a previous employer and finding out what others really thought about your candidates.

Managing the process and offer
Imagine for one minute that you’ve spent money hiring the right candidate and on the day he/she is supposed to start – they don’t! For whatever reason the candidate has had a change of mind or been counter offered by their existing employer (let’s be fair here, if they are that good that you want to hire them their existing boss won’t want to lose them!) something has gone wrong in the process – and candidate management is what we are exceptionally good at – if you want your candidate to turn up with the right approach, manner and attitude then don’t take chances let’s talk about your recruitment requirements.

Post hire blues?
If for whatever reason your candidate hasn’t turned up or you’ve recruited the wrong person – let’s work together and get it right first time, every time.

Preparing the adverts, dealing with applicants, Interviewing, training and bringing in a new employee costs both time and money, not to mention lost productivity of the hirer/s during the process, often senior staff. Add termination costs, severance pay, potential legal fees and collecting the company car, laptop etc and the costs can be staggering. All that, and the vacancy still exists! The whole exercise has to be done again – this time you’ll do better right? Potentially yes – but that’s assuming the right person is reading your advert at the right time with the right motivation to apply – sounds like a gamble and it is.

Increase your odds
Executive Search is no longer for the top 5% in the City
“Head-hunters” as they are known can and will source staff either from your business or for it if it is in their interests –Search consultants are highly motivated individuals who are usually paid on results (that’s their motivation) it is extremely difficult to protect your staff from a determined approach – no names policies don’t work as a good search consultant will already have the names of the people they want to talk with!

Executive search is expensive
Nowhere near as expensive as getting it wrong - and some will negotiate their fees if more than one role requires filling.

Did you know?
There are over 128 000 people in the £30bn recruitment industry, Search Consultants represent 10% of this sector.
An essential industry which is why it’s grown from next to nothing to a £30bn industry in less than 40 years

If you want great staff that are proven performers – then hire an executive search consultant they are nowhere near as expensive as you may think and if you want to avoid the mistake of a wrong hire – improve your odds.
