A question
for you...When do you
think the shops started their planning for this Christmas? What
do they need to consider? Trends, staffing levels, weather! When do they start
planning? Well most started last year!
Christmas traditionally for most of us is a last minute rush and an expensive time of rampant consumerism and
materialism…buy buy buy.. oh and then there is the sales...£££££££.......
Now is a great time to start planning your own perfect Christmas –
by contentment and satisfaction. If you were expecting a tick list think again.
A lot of Christmas stress results from people trusting to luck that
“everything will be alright” rather that taking control and ensuring that they actually make everything as they
want it to be. (Does this sound familiar?) It is this awareness of what you want
that makes all the difference. Many people know what they don’t want, but it is only when they turn it on its head and
look at the positive that great things start happening.
This awareness can be the best Christmas present that you can give
to yourself.
Do you write out dozens of Christmas cards
in a rush job just before last post? Are your messages sincere and thoughtful?
Have you truly thought about the message that you wish to share with others this Christmas? What do you want them to feel when they receive your card?
Creating a plan as a gift for you is nowhere near as selfish as it
sounds either.
Looking at the big picture, once you have a plan for your life and achievements, and you are working
towards its fulfilment, all the other areas of your life improve as well. Partners, relatives and colleagues alike notice
a new sense of purpose, a new enthusiasm and a contagious happiness. You may not be able to wrap this up in pretty paper but,
even so, its value is beyond measure.
Happy Crimbo…
p.s. whilst you may not receive a card from the team at Kuta –
we sincerely wish you the very best Christmas ever.
