Timekeeping
You are responsible for the timekeeping
within your group.
Try to ensure fairness to all Kuta members
by sticking to the allotted times (twenty minutes each)
Structure
Where possible ensure that your group members
stick to a structured approach to sharing their past goals, tasks and achievements before sharing the tasks and goals that
they have planned for the next 4 weeks.
Questioning
To ensure a smooth but inspiring session
you should master questioning in order to lead your members to a conclusion or action.
Typical open questions lead by: who, where, why, what, when, how
For example: So how would completing your
next 4 week tasks impact on your longer terms goals?
We will issue all facilitators and members
with an A4 prompt sheet that will have useful questions on it to help prior to all sessions.
Subjects
To maintain the equilibrium of what Kuta
is about it is vital that the members address their personal goals and not just business.
To that end we will also have a facilitators check list that acts not only as a prompt but also from a quality perspective
that each persons areas of interest - Family, Health, Business etc has been mentioned.
Maintain a healthy balance between work
and personal issues.
By mentioning different areas to
the members on a regular basis this will act as a prompt and whilst not everyone will require “prompting” there
will be some who will act and reap the rewards from doing so – your “prompt” may come just in time to save
a relationship, improve cash flow, reduce stress etc.
Interpersonal skills
Be genuinely interested in your members
- show great eye to eye contact and demonstrate active listening skills (we will provide a session on active listening and
also produce an active listening guide available as a download on this site.
Surmise each person’s goals with
enthusiasm.
